MOST CURIOUS WEDDING SHOW – for inspiration planning a stylish wedding

December 8th, 2014

FEATURED most curious wedding show

If you’re a bride (or groom, but probably a bride) planning your wedding then a great start is a wedding show or fair. And it is fair, not fayre, just in case you were wondering! Most Curious is definitely worth visiting.

Finding a fair isn’t difficult there are a lot of them about, finding a good one is the challenge. Wedding style seems to move in slow cycles, slightly disconnected from the fashion world making it hard for the style savvy couple to find the things that will reflect their own particular tastes.

There are plenty of vintage wedding fairs around, covered in bunting, doylies and cake stands. These are normally quite good fun but they’re a style doesn’t necessarily offer anything truly different if that’s what you’re after. There are also lots and lots of fairs (usually calling themselves fayres) held in hotels on the edges of civilisation, at the side of a dual carriageway or in the mail hall of some two-bit golf club – these are quite often disappointing events, awash with photographers and florists and not much else.

Most Curious, the wedding show for the style-savvy couples strips back the usual labels associated with wedding events. Rather than tagging the event as vintage, alternative, designer or whatever term is currently en vogue, Most Curious is an honest event that is stylish and free spirited. Handpicking their exhibitors the organisers have control over their show, making sure that the quality remains high. From the coolest of established brands to the up and coming makers working from the bedroom you will meet someone to inspire your wedding planning and excite your imagination.

The photo-shoot (by Laura McClusky) below says it all about the style that will be at the two most curious wedding shows in London (7 -8 March ’15) and Norwich (8 February ’15)
