You’ve given a deposit to the wedding venue and you’ve picked your dress and now it’s time to find a photographer that will record the wedding in all its glory. Using the 3 Ps is a good guideline for finding the right photographer for your wedding, Price, Pictures and Personality.

PRICE

Let’s face it weddings are expensive so you have to work towards a budget. But, don’t just choose the cheapest photographer you find – you get what you pay for. Set a budget range and research photographers within that price bracket.

PICTURES

The wedding photographs are pretty important! When searching for a photographer, make sure that you have a good look at their website and albums to ensure that you like the style. Apart from the quality of the pictures themselves, take time to see what sort of shots your photographer takes- try and find someone that captures the natural moments and knows how to take posed shots that don’t look awkward.

PERSONALITY

Personality can sometimes get overlooked. There’s no point finding a photographer who takes great images and comes in under budget if you don’t get along. Make sure that you have a consultation. You’re going to spend all day with your photographer so you need to feel comfortable.
