Despite the inevitable return of winter try and remember that we have enjoyed great weather this year, marking a return to spring and summer weddings.
Brides and grooms-to-be have been opting to get married in September and October, hoping to avoid the April showers and harsh summer downpours of recent years. But this year was kind to the spring/summer brides, so many of you might rethink the autumn wedding.
If you are getting married next year, you’ll be starved of inspiration by the arrival of autumnal events and the black-tie engagements of Christmas and New Year. Make sure you’ve got a spring look book to hand, revisit your photo albums and make sure that you start pinning spring styles.
If you are getting married in the Spring you will still need to be cautious as a few brief showers are likely but you’ll get chance to add some fun accessories, such as wellies or a brolly. And, you can opt for a choice of wild flowers to go with the natural beauties such as the bluebells growing in the meadows.
