If you’re planning to have a photobooth at your wedding, make it a good one.
Okay contradiction alert! In a previous article Off To Wed said that photobooths were expensive and that the money would be better spent being put towards a wedding photographer. But some of you want a photobooth to form part of the evening entertainment at your wedding and if that’s what you want then that’s what you should have.
So if you’re planning to have a photobooth make it a good one. We were impressed by a company called Groovybooth who supplied the booth for one of our events which had some great features including a wind machine. We’ve decided to use them as a benchmark for some of the things you should think about when hiring your own.
With a customised image on the photos you can carry across some of the styling, motifs or designed used in the stationery. Check out how our logo was used in the pictures below.
In the spirit of branding your wedding, do more than just carry across your wedding motifs by using your ‘signature colour’ on the outside of the booth. Some photobooths are a walking advert for the company supplying them – you don’t want something ruining your wedding vibe, do you?
Fun props are great, stylish props are better and clean props are a winner. When you book your photobooth make sure that they clean any wearable props before your wedding. No sweat.
Yes black and white prints gives your photographs a nice classic look so anything that can add an individual touch will go down well with your guests, – wind machine maybe? Oh yeah.
